8" Banshee Scythe 37lbs!!
That’s right not only is this one high performance sick looking bike it weighs only 37lbs. This is Dans’ latest ride and it took a bit of work to get it to 37lbs but here it is! To start off the front fork is the Marzocchi 888 Sl the rear shock is a Manitou 6way swinger with a Ti spring. The wheels are part of the secret in the light weight too. Hope Pro2 hubs,20mmfrt 150 rear, built on Mavic 721 with double butted spokes. There was no weight saved on rubber. Michelin 2.8 up front and the Michelin comp 16 rear with regular tubes. Sram XO shift pod with the XO rear der. and the Sram 990 rear cassette with the hollow pin chain. Not only is the shifting super sweet it also helped in weight reduction as did the Shimano XT cranks and MRP G2 guide. Chromag bar direct mount stem Race Face post, uninterupted, and Funn pedals. Brakes…ohhh the brakes! Hope Moto 6 Ti !!!! HUGE Braking power and modulation. This bikes climbs like crazy and decends like a savage. Banshee has been proving to be the better option in bikes today! Just ask Dan or anyone else who has a Banshee. Please swing by the shop and check out the Hot new style and models of 2008.
